A mix of bluebird turning to cloudy. Conditions were amazing today. The groomers did a great job. Only mild breeze today

Reed Brook falls

Good day for a hike to Reed Brook falls. The trail is mostly snow only slippery in a few spots. There is a short muddy section maybe 10 feet long.

Not the best start to the season

This hasn't exactly been the best start to the season, but at least we're still skiing.  we had another rain event last yesterday so now things are a bit firmed up, but luckily snowmaking should restart this afternoon and everything should good again for christmas.  We could also see 2-4 inches of new snow in the next few days.

Wind Hold

The wind rolled in last night and it kept the superquad closed for the day, there was skiing still to be had on the Landing and Birches though.  Some rain today, it may be a little firm tomorrow.  Snowmaking today on Narrow Gauge, and Comp Hill.  The new Skyline quad opens tomorrow at noon

Some wet precip

Woke up today to drizzle and rain, we got a dusting of snow, probably a little more on the mtn, today started on wind hold but the quad opened mid morning, tomorrow looks windy, but the weather should calm down and Saturday's Skyline opening should be a great day

Dec skiing

Friday was a decent day of skiing, The right side of hayburner was in great shape with a lot of chopped up natural and man made powder and bumps, the middle of the trail was icy and hard packed and the very edge of the left side was powdery and bumped.  Candyside was fast.  Tote Road had some great snow, some wet guns, but chicken pitch under the guns was amazing first thing in the morning.  Snowmaking going strong on Kings Landing, Lower Comp, Upper Gauge and on Tote Road.  Kings Landing is now open

5-7 inches of new snow

It snowed last night, we got 5-7 inches but today Sugarloaf is closed for wind.  Hopefully the wind dies enought to open today.  Snowmaking restarted last night and hopefully they'll get Kings Landing open by the weekend.

Spring like and foggy

Yesterday conditions were quite spring like, but very foggy.  Hayburner had decent coverage, candyside wasn't bad but is very thin.  Tote Road had some great snow, but not a lot of coverage in some areas.  No snowmaking but it did snow.
